Microsoft has created a site to receive reports of violations, racism and crimes in general of those who have a repugnant and intolerant nature about racial discrimination. The site is available for all Microsoft platforms, including Xbox, Skype, and even WinDrive.
Microsoft’s decision to develop a direct channel to report discrimination after a European anti-hate and hate crime treaty came into effect was the same as other companies, such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
The site allows reporting from anywhere in the world, and not only to those living in EU countries. The statement also pointed to Microsoft’s efforts to combat any kind of bad behavior in customer service, and that the new complaint site is just another way to improve the company’s strategy to combat hatred and intolerance
